Konsortium Hospital Universiti Awam Malaysia (KHUAM)

Founded on 15th June 2017, KHUAM began with a Memorandum of Agreement between five public university hospitals. Today, it has grown to include six additional universities, all committed to a strategic partnership.

KHUAM ensures a systematic and integrated approach to the management of public university teaching hospitals. It serves as an official channel for sharing ideas that elevate university hospitals in a globally competitive environment.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

We invite you to share your latest research, insights, and experiences. Abstract submission is open from April 16th 2026


General Abstract Guidelines

  • The scientific committee invites the submission of original scientific materials that are unpublished and have yet to be presented at the time of the abstract submission deadline.
  • DO NOT submit the same study in multiple abstracts.
  • Abstracts that appear as more than one version of a single study will be rejected.
  • Abstracts should be written in English and MUST follow the template provided.
  • All abstract submissions should be uploaded in word document.
  • Submission closes on 31st July 2026

Abstract Review & Selection

  • A panel of local experts will review the abstracts for suitability before being accepted.
  • There is no limit to the number of submissions per participant.
  • The corresponding author will receive email confirmation for acceptance for e-poster presentation by
    31st August 2026.
  • Authors of the abstracts selected for e-poster competition will be informed about the date and presentation guidelines via email.
  • Selected abstracts will be published in Medicine & Health Journal (WOS) (e-ISSN 2289-5728).
  • Committee Members Policy: Any 8th KHUAM Conference’s committee members who wish to submit their abstracts MUST consist of other authors who are not part of the committee members; and the presenter SHOULD NOT be a committee members.

Withdrawal & Policy

  • If the author(s) wishes to withdraw their abstract, they are requested to do so in writing via email to the abstract committee secretariat before 31st August 2026.

  • Prior to abstract submission, ensure all authors agree to the following:

  • Be aware that their names will appear on the abstract and all authors agree to the submission and presentation of the results.
  • Understand that all possible patent and copyright issues must be resolved before submission.

Awards & Prizes

  • For each track, 10 posters will be selected to compete in the poster competition.
